Kassel, directly in the middle of germany, has got around 200.000 inhabitants.  

The city’s look is mostly affected by historical architecture (Herkules, Schloss Wilhelmshöhe, Orangerie, Rathaus, Fridericianum, ...), large parks (Berkpark, Kalsaue, BuGa-Gelände) and the achievement of rebuilding the city after the second world war.

Every five years, the documenta brings one of the worlds most famous art-exhibitions to Kassel.
 
Kassel’s cultural offering is very  attractive and manifold. Futhermore, the city is famous for it’s many museums.
